College of Defence Management is a premier tri-service institution imparting management training to officers of Defence Services.

The College of Defence Management is entrusted with the responsibility of instilling contemporary management thoughts, concepts and practices in the senior leadership of the three services. Its Vision and Mission statements lead to identification of clear and unambiguous objectives.

Maj Gen NP Gadkari was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery in Jun 1977. An Alumni of Sainik School Rewa and the National Defence Academy, he is a graduate of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and College of Defence Management.
